Deputies Continue to Work Hard with more Arrests

Scott County-On September 28, 2019, Deputies John Hartman, Josh Juliot and Reserve Deputy Joe Lucas of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office were requested for assistance by Deputy John Smith at the intersection of State Road 56 and Boatman Road for a suspicious vehicle with a person inside that was sleeping.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Michael Lee, 55, of Scottsburg for Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication. 

 

On September 29, 2019, Deputy James Ward of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office assisted Deputy Joe Baker on a drug investigation in Scottsburg.  During the investigation Justin Chitwood, 33, of Jeffersonville, Indiana was arrested on an out of county warrant. 

 

On September 29, 2019, Captain Joe Guarneri with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office served an outstanding warrant at the Sheriff’s Office on Sara Campbell.  Sara Campbell, 24 of Dale, Indiana was arrested on the warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe. 

 

On September 30, 2019, Deputy James Ward with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office was on routine patrol when he observed a male that he knew to have an outstanding warrant.  Deputy Ward made contact with the male with the assistance of the Scottsburg City Police at a local business in Scottsburg.  Shortly thereafter Robert Campbell, 44, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding warrant through Scott County for Domestic Battery by Means of Deadly Weapon, Criminal Confinement results in bodily injury, Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery by Bodily Waste and also a Parole Warrant.  Robert Campbell was also listed on the wanted on warrant Wednesday. 

 

On September 30, 2019, Deputy James Ward of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office served an outstanding warrant at the Sheriff’s Office on Jonathan Jones.  Jonathan Jones, 33, of Scottsburg was arrested on the warrant for Residential Entry and Criminal Trespass.
